Vacation with children: Splashworld Provence

There is no way a summer on the Cote d’Azur could be boring. It is everyone’s favorite location, regardless of the purpose of their visit. There are exclusive parties for young people and beaches that are busy from the very start of June with tourists from all over the world. If you are looking for ways to make your children’s stay on the French Riviera even more fun, please read our selection on the best places for family vacations.

Let’s move away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches to the French Avignon. Once you’ve explored this amazing city, drive another 10 km to reach the largest water park in France, “Splashworld Provence”. This is where the fun starts.

Splashworld Provence Water Park

Fun Rides for Children and Grown-Ups

The water park has 15 rides that are fun for both children and adults. Fans of extreme sports should check out the “Huricana Sliiide”, the highest water slide in Europe. Its highest point is at 33 meters of altitude, offering you a breathtaking view of the Mount Vanto. The ride is 112 meters long, with sharp slopes, and speeds of around 80 km/h. So much fun, but that might not be to everyone’s liking!

Amongst the many water slides, another one that stands out is the “Tikki Looops”, which alternates between open areas and closed pipes, illuminated by multi-colored neon lights. It has a maximum height of 13 meters, ensuring a calm descent with speeds that do not exceed 20 km/h. A great ride for you and your child.

If you are not scared of the dark, try out the 130-meter “Kind’a Looops” complete with winding tunnels. With speeds of 30 km/h, you will slide past some special visual effects, before finding yourself in total darkness a moment after. Give it a go – it will be fun!

You can catch a wave at “Ri’Kiki Bay”. A 950 sq.m swimming pool with waves reaching 1 meter in height. Make sure that you don’t suffer from seasickness!

Another ride “Da Wave” allows you to experience the highest artificial wave in Europe. It is 3.5 m high. If you’ve ever dreamed of becoming a surfer, this is the ride for you.
