Monaco’s traditional Funfair (“Foire d’attraction”) is back this year at the Port of Monaco. From now until 19 November 2026, rides, games, and food stalls have been set up and are ready for  visitors of all ages.

“Offering all the classic joys of a fairground. With a mix of thrills, entertainment, and tasty treats, there is something for everyone to enjoy!” says Monaco’s City Hall in a recent press release.

Over 70 stalls and rides have been set up in a layout that is slightly different this year (due to construction works on the Darse Sud for the Formula 1 Grand Prix). Big thrills rides, carnival games, rides for little ones, and delicious treats are all available.

National Day Celebrations

Aside from the high-adrenalin spinning rides, classic rides like bumper cars and funhouses, and sweet snacks like churros, crêpes, and cotton candy, the park will also be celebrating Monaco’s National Day.

The evening before National Day, the park will have special extended hours, until 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday 18 November.

The traditional Fireworks display, launched over Port Hercule, is planned at 8:10 p.m. this year.

Opening Hours

Food stalls and children’s rides open at 11:00 a.m., with the rest of the stalls and rides opening at 2:00 p.m. The Funfair closes at 11:00 p.m. on weekdays, and is open until midnight on Fridays, Saturdays, and public holidays.

Going Green

Once again this year, special guidelines have been given to stalls participating in this year’s funfair by the Prince’s Government. With the objective of “zero single-use plastic by 2030”, vendors are encouraged to use environmentally friendly alternatives to single use plastic straws, cups, and takeaway containers. Instead, cutlery and dishes made out of cardboard, bamboo, or other compostable materials will be used during this year’s funfair.
