Child Care Monaco: Vintage сar rally

Child Care Monaco is organizing the 4th edition of the fundraiser and event known as the Women’s Rally of Vintage Cars on Sunday, 17 September.

This year’s theme is “Vintage Vichy Vibration.” The event aims to raise money to provide equipment for a girls’ school and assist other projects of the school, in India. The Monegasque association had this school built in 2015.

The meeting is set at 8:25 am at the Café de Paris, Place du Casino, and the day begins with a breakfast where the itinerary will be distributed, where the teams will be allocated and where the cars will be allocated. During the one-day race, the participants will cross the beautiful landscapes of the region, as well as enjoy a lunch break, tea-time, raffle and quiz, all in great fun, added President Martine Ackermann: “With a spirit of solidarity, sharing, enthusiasm, which are our key words.”

The return is scheduled at 7 pm on the Place du Palais, where the awards will be presented to the winning teams: 1st prize, jury prize, elegance prize, and quiz prize. The event will close with a cocktail at the Castelroc restaurant, opposite the Palais.

For the cocktail only, each participant can bring a member of her family or a friend, at the rate of 10 euros per person. The public can also admire this beautiful collection of cars at the start, at Place du Casino, or at the finish, at Place du Palais.

This year the funds raised will finance four projects: purchasing of solar panels, computers, and 90 bicycles, and assisting the growing and selling of mushrooms by the mothers of the girls to gain autonomy.
