Amazónico Monte-Carlo Opens in April…
Located on the rooftop of the Café de Paris on the Place du Casino, the new Amazónico Monte Carlo will open its doors on 5 April 2024. On the menu: creative cuisine, cocktails, live performances and a private club, all within a breathtaking setting.
Created in Madrid in 2010 by Sandro Silva and Marta Seco, the Amazónico concept first came to London in 2015. Next, it arrived in Dubai. Now, it is about to open in the historic heart of Monte-Carlo, on one of the most beautiful rooftops in the world. The new location comes complete with a lounge bar, restaurant, private club (for up to 30 people with its own cigar terrace) and a 1000 m² terrace.
“It is with immense pride that we launch Amazónico in Monaco, a destination renowned for its global appeal and which represents luxury in its most elegant form. Through our partnership with Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, we guarantee that Amazónico will bring a new lifestyle experience and culinary excellence to Monaco’s already vibrant scene,” said Sandro Silva and Marta Seco, creators and founders of Amazónico.
The 100% Amazonian design was imagined by artist and Lázaro Rosa-Violan and orchestrated by the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer. The menu by Sandro Silva draws on the culinary repertoire of the Amazon regions. Tropical and Latin American influences mingle with Asian and Mediterranean flavours made with seasonal products to create dishes like Peruvian sushi or carefully selected grilled meats and fish.
“More than a restaurant, Amazónico Monte-Carlo is a journey to the banks of the Amazon, an immersion in the culture, atmosphere and flavours of the countries that border the largest river in the world,” states the SBM in a recent press release.
Live performances of Latin-inspired jazz, bossanova and Cuban music will soon be giving rhythm to restaurant evenings, while resident DJs will spin “electropical” sounds in the Bar & Lounge area and the Club. Nestled behind a mysterious leopard print staircase and topped with a mesmerising ceiling, the Club is exclusively reserved for restaurant customers and open from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
