Anoïa Restaurant: The culinary heritage of Brittany meets the elegance of Monaco…

The new Anoïa restaurant is now open. The red-and-white ribbon was officially cut by François Ortelli, Taïs Ragas and their two children on 2 March. Surrounded by walls covered in comic book pages, diners can now enjoy a fusion between Breton crêpes and traditional Monegasque dishes.

Open from dawn till dusk on Boulevard des Moulins, Anoïa’s menus features breakfast, brunch, dinner and a drinks menu. From buckwheat crêpes to gourmet galettes, each dish appears to be a celebration of both innovation and tradition.

Located in the old Loga Café

After two years of searching for the perfect location, François Ortelli and Taïs Ragas finally became the proud owners of the former Loga café in the Monte-Carlo district. After two months of preparation and redecorating, the new restaurant is currently welcoming its first customers. The family-owned establishment decided to retain the Loga teams and employees.

“Anoïa promises an exceptional culinary journey, from tasty breakfast to romantic dinner, without forgetting our signature Apéro Time”, a special moment to relax and share,” states the restaurant’s website.

The comic-themed look of the menu, the Tintin rocket on the ceiling and the Blake and Mortimer “Yellow Mark” on the wall will delight any comic book fan. Comics hold a special place in the hearts of the owners, as does the flavours of Brittany. After spending summers in Brittany, the family noticed a lack of places to procure real buckwheat pancakes in Monaco. The thought sparked a business idea and the entrepreneurs began contacting artisans from France’s north-western peninsula.

Salads, pastas, meats and a kids menu are all available at the new restaurant. A ‘build-your-own crêpe is also on the menu, with the sugar crêpe base available for just 7 euros and various toppings available from 2 to 5 euros. Toppings vary from salted butter caramel, lemon cream, fruit, candy or even flambée with Grand Marnier.
