This week, the 2019 edition of BRICKLIVE Monaco was on show by its organizers, the Grimaldi Forum and Live Company. The highlight of this presentation was the full-size reproduction of Venturi-Formula E car, personally unveiled by Felipe Massa. It will be on display throughout the period of BRICKLIVE, from December 21 to January 5, which will offer over 2 million brick pits spread over 4000 m2 in various construction and play areas. Young and old lovers of the famous brick will also find an educational exhibition on the theme of ocean as well as many surprises!
BRICKLIVE Show: playgrounds and construction areas
About ten spaces will go this year to construction and games of all kinds, both manual and electronic. This year’s BRICKLIVE Shows will include the popular Duplo, BRICKLIVE Force, Ninja tournament temples, Friends and Architecture zones.
The Race Ramp workshop will allow children to engage in car racing after they have built their cars. It is in this same space that Felipe Massa‘s Formula E Venturi car presented today will be on exhibition, in real size, i.e. 5 meters long by 1.80 meters wide and 1 meter high, a Formula E of a block built entirely in by a team of professional builders and weighing just over 1 tonne! The Map Build area, which reproduces the map of Monaco, will offer everyone the opportunity to redevelop the Principality by constructing buildings, houses, cars and even boats. Young and old will also be able to express themselves as they want on the Graffiti Wall. Children can also dive into a briquette pool to enjoy their favorite construction game! Dance, make-up and many other surprises and competitions will also be on offer during this event!
Another great news: thanks to the exceptional presence of the Fairmont Monte-Carlo Hotel on the Friends zone, a great “Atelier Petits Chefs” will be displayed on site for children to prepare delicious biscuits! A catering area will allow you satisfaction on site and several selfie areas will immortalize this exceptional visit. The most beautiful buildings of amateurs will also be exhibited in an open fan-zone. Applications to show in this fan-zone are open until December 15. Feel free to send the photo of the project you are most proud of to Grimaldi Forum (firstname.lastname@example.org), it may go on display during Christmas vacation!
BRICKLIVE Ocean: an exhibition on the theme of Oceans
This year, the BRICKLIVE Show will include BRICKLIVE Ocean, showcasing thirty statues, educating children and families about the incredible diversity of life in the Earth’s Oceans, and about the major environmental issues that threaten their existence. The theme of this exhibition fits Monaco, which attaches particular importance to marine protection and conservation. Thirty creatures ranging from 85 cm to 2 meters in height, from 1.20 meters to more than 4 meters in length and from 60 centimeters to 1 meter in width, can be seen this year.
