The Monte-Carlo Beach continues its gentle transformation under the new Managing Director of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, René Blino. For this 2024 summer season, Club La Vigie is updating its menu, with brand new gastronomic creations by Pascal Garrigues and the big return of dinner (in addition to lunch). To complete the experience, a shuttle service is now available from the port of Monaco.
Club La Vigie: so far and yet so close!
“It’s time to enjoy a completely timeless moment, where the calm of nature reigns, just a few steps from the Principality of Monaco,” states a recent press release by the SBM.
Classified as an LPO refuge, Club La Vigie is nestled in the heart of a pine forest with a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. Returning for the summer with a new gastronomic menu by the Executive Chef of Monte-Carlo Beach, Pascal Garrigues, who has taken over the restaurant’s kitchens to create summery versions of Mediterranean cuisine. Lunch can be enjoyed on a shaded terrace with the soothing sound of waves in the background. The summer menu gives pride of place to seasonal vegetables, local grilled fish and the “La Vigie” lobster, cooked on a salt pan.
In the evening, the atmosphere evolves to include a touch of elegance and romance, for dinners under the stars. Refined products feature in a more sophisticated menu. Catalan lobster, a Trilogy of raw fish, or Black Angus beef Tomahawk, with Salmoriglio sauce. Desserts include the chef’s Tiramisu, a Club La Vigie-style Pavlova, or the refreshing red fruits with pink lychee. All set to music by a live trio and a resident DJ.
Free shuttle boat from Monaco’s port
Another new feature for 2024 is a shuttle boat service provided free of charge by Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, allowing patrons to reach Club La Vigie by sea from the port of Monaco (Port Hercule). This service is also available at an additional cost from Cap d’Ail, Eze-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.
Club La Vigie is open until 15 September 2024 (from Thursday to Sunday, then 7 days a week in July and August).
