Concerts, Comedy, Dance: Grimaldi Forum unveils Impressive Winter Program

The Grimaldi Forum has unveiled a long-awaited full schedule of activities and culture for all audiences to enjoy. The diverse 2021/2022 program has something for everyone, with over twenty events on the agenda and more surprises to be expected along the way, with the some additional shows and concerts already in the works.

“It is the great return of the live performance for the pleasure of the public,” the Grimaldi Forum states on their website.

Iggy Pop, Isabelle Mergault, Lang Lang…

Concert headliners include Lang Lang, Benjamin Biolay, Carla Bruni, Christophe Maé, Francis Cabrel, and Iggy Pop (whose much-anticipated concert has been postponed several times, and will close the season on 19 May).

The Thursday Live Sessions are also commencing again. The free concert series begins on 11 November with O’Sisters, an incredible act created under the impetus of French DJ and producer Missill. O’Sisters is “Girl Power” through electro, soul and funk sounds with visuals including psychedelic white and black striped costumes. Other Live Sessions highlights include Yarol Poupaud on 24 March, who is known for his 30 year career in the rock scene (from the FFF group to Johnny Hallyday).

After we’ve all endured such a difficult period, the Grimaldi Forum is gearing up for some big laughs with comedy shows featuring Isabelle Mergault, Chantal Ladesou or Josiane Balasko, as part of performances by the Théâtre Princesse Grace ‘Hors les Murs’, or with the ‘Sérénissimes de l’Humour’ for four shows from 10 to 13 November.

Monaco Dance Forum with Ballets de Monte-Carlo

December includes Ary Abittan’s exceptional one man show. Among other highlights for December are the Ballets de Monte-Carlo performances during the Monaco Dance Forum and culminating in The Nutcracker, which will be sure to add magic to the Principality’s end-of-year celebrations.
