Exotic Garden to Open this Autumn after Years of Renovations…
The Exotic Garden of Monaco has announced that it is “closed for renovation work and to make the site safer. It will open at the end of Summer 2025.” According to a recent news article in Monaco-Matin, the reopening should take place by the end of October.
In 2020, the Garden first announced that they will be closed for 1-2 years for “renovation and safety work.” But the undertaking proved to take more time than anticipated. Five walkways were renovated and extensive works to restore the garden’s rock faces, which pose a risk to visitors, had to be done.

The Monaco Underwater Exploration Club will be hosting a unique event combining competition, passion and a commitment to marine conservation from September 4–7, 2025. The 20th National Underwater Photography Contest, the 2nd International Challenge, and the finale of the Junior Contest, launched by the club at the start of the summer, will all take place over the same weekend.

Bookmark this if you’re boating into Monaco for the yacht show. The Principality has published special navigation rules for Monaco Yacht Show 2025, turning Port Hercule into a tightly managed fairway from 00:00 on Wednesday, 24 September until 18:30 on Saturday, 27 September.
There will be a full nightly shutdown: which means no vessel movements at all between 00:00 and 07:00 on show days. Think of Port Hercule as a red-light zone overnight.
