IFSI and IFAS (The Nursing Training Institute (IFSI) and Nursing Assistants (IFAS) ) Graduation and Badge Ceremony took place on Thursday, September 19, 2024. This is the traditional graduation and badge ceremony for the IFSI and IFAS promotions in the presence of HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover, Patron of the Institute.
It’s a ceremony marked by kindness, self-sacrifice and compassion to others, no matter who, which are essential qualities for becoming a nurse or nursing assistant.
Present were Mr. Christophe Robino, Government Advisor-Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Mr. Franck
Lobono, National Advisor representing the President of the National Council, Mr. Thomas Brezzo, and Ms. Benoîte Rousseau de Sevelinges, Director of the Princess Grace Hospital Center.
In her speech, the Director of the Institute, Ms. Josette Piazza-Cadiou, congratulated the. students for their rigorous work throughout their course (three years for nurses, one year for nursing assistants) and recalled the values of the Institute:
“Since 1929, our values have been combined in this way: loyalty, respect, rigour, responsibility, competence, compassion and altruism including the recognition of the right of others to be different.
The two valedictorians, Laetitia Racca (IFAS) and Marine Guicheney (IFSI), warmly thanked in their speech
the teaching team of the Institute as well as the Management of the CHPG, emphasizing the chance to train in a quality establishment and carrying great values. In total, 21 nurses from the 2021-2024 “Elie Semoun” class and 13 students from the 2023-2024 nursing assistant class received their diplomas from the hands of the HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover.
