This weekend you can enjoy various sports and cultural events in Monaco. Don’t miss anything interesting! Look what we have chosen for you.

The Crossing event is making a grand return and will take place on June 19 and 20 with a new, exceptional edition, in the heart of the Mediterranean, along a brand-new 225-kilometer water bike route.
Organized by Her Serene Highness Princess of Monaco Foundation since 2020, this sporting and charitable event aims to raise awareness of the Foundation’s initiatives, particularly swimming education, drowning prevention, and the promotion of the educational and human values of sport. Driven by an international dimension, it embodies a multicultural and unifying spirit.
This year, the Crossing has taken on an environmental dimension. The race will pass through the Pelagos Marine Sanctuary, a European marine treasure. Forming a triangle between France, Italy, and Monaco, this sanctuary stands as the largest marine area dedicated to the protection of marine mammals in Europe. Created in 1999, this 87,500-square-kilometer territory remains an essential refuge for many iconic species.
For this new edition, several teams of four elite athletes will set off from the Viareggio Yacht Club (exact time to be confirmed 48 hours in advance) on Friday, June 19.

UPAINT is back to celebrate its 10th anniversary on the Promenade du Larvotto from June 21 to 25, 2026. On the agenda: 17 international artists will create artworks live over the 5 days, along with music, food trucks, a bar, and happy hour, for a burst of color, fun, and impact! The UPAINT village awaits you starting Sunday, June 21, for the Fête de la Musique. Admission is free and open to all.
The auction of the created artworks will take place on Thursday, June 25 at 6:00 p.m. As every year, the net proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Prince Albert II Foundation to support an environmental protection project. To register for the auction, contact valentina@upawart.com

Screening of Damien Chazelle’s film “La La Land” is organized by the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra on June 21, 2026 at 3 pm in the Grimaldi Forum.
Music by Justin Hurwitz
Rediscover the film La La Land, written and directed by Damien Chazelle and winner of 6 Academy Awards® in 2016, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, in a live symphonic film concert performed by more than 80 musicians.
La La Land tells the captivating story of a promising pianist and an aspiring actress who meet and fall in love while trying to harmonize their careers in Los Angeles.
In this unique performance, the full orchestra and a jazz band will perform the film’s magnificent original score composed by Justin Hurwitz. An incredible visual and musical experience, not to be missed!

And don’t forget about the exhibitions. For example, from March 2 to June 15, 2026, Le Méridien Beach Plaza unveils Japan Highlights, an immersive exploration of Japan through the distinct yet complementary perspectives of Franck Solimeis and Carole Micallef.
Blending photography and digital artistry, the exhibition explores the compelling contrasts of a country where centuries-old traditions coexist with cutting-edge modernity. Quiet temples, contemplative landscapes, vibrant cities and contemporary aesthetics unfold in a richly immersive artistic experience.
