Larvotto Beach Gears Up for Summer Season. Excitement Mounts!

Larvotto Beach is getting ready for the opening of the summer season. So important reshaping works will take place from April 15th to May 3rd.

As last year, with the approach of the summer season and in order to welcome the numerous users of the Larvotto Beach Complex under the best conditions, general reshaping works of the beach will focus on reducing the slope which has steepened significantly during the winter. This ground intervention consists of flattening the gravel mound and will restore a suitable shape to the beach and slope of access into the sea to ensure sufficient capacity and meet the needs for securing access to bathing areas.

Marine Diversity

To respect the balance of the marine biodiversity present on the site, this operation will be accompanied by the installation of retention nets on the water surface, at the level of the coves, each 120 meters long. They will preserve the adjacent marine reserve from sediments generated by the reshaping.

Protecting Swimmers

For the protection of users, swimming will be prohibited for the entire duration of this intervention. However, the beach will remain accessible by sections, depending on the progress of the works which will be carried out from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

All Restaurants and Shops Remain Open

The restaurants and shops of the complex will remain open without restriction. Throughout the season, regular maintenance will be carried out to maintain the width and gentle slope of the beach, without causing any new closures or inaccessibility for bathers.
