Monaco Boost – A New Monegasque Business Incubator

On Wednesday 6 January, Pierre Dartout, Minister of State, Stéphane Valeri, President of the National Council, and Jean Castellini, Minister of Finance and Economy, visited the premises of the brand-new State-owned company Monaco Boost.

Monaco Boost is a business incubator, operated on behalf of the State, with the aim of making its premises available for rental to selected partnerships and sole traders that are registered in the Principality, so as to accommodate, welcome and support them.

“I commend the implementation of this tool, which is being made available to Monegasque entrepreneurs who create and innovate;  it will serve to promote economic initiatives in the Principality,” declared the Minister of State.

Located in Zone F in Fontvieille, this Société Anonyme Monegasque (± Monegasque joint-stock company), whose assets are entirely State owned, is managed by Laurence Garino, its managing director. It offers the services covering 1,200 m2 and comprised of 32 exclusive enclosed offices, two co-working areas (16 dedicated shared offices and 12 “hot spots”), two meeting rooms, one multipurpose room, a cafeteria, a relaxation area and a terrace.  It can house a total of 108 businesses.

In late January 2021, a call for applications for the individual offices only will be launched, with a view to the first entrepreneurs moving there in April 2021, in line with a process that is similar to the call for applications for State-owned business premises.

The Allocation Committee will be chaired by the Minister of Finance and Economy and will be comprised of representatives from the National Council, the State Property Authority, the Business Development Agency and the SAM Monaco Boost.
