Monaco’s Class of 2025 has once again underscored the Principality’s reputation for scholastic excellence, achieving an impressive 97.82 % overall pass rate across all exam streams—a figure that aligns with previous peaks and underlines consistent educational quality.

General Track Sets the Pace

The two flagship schools, Lycée Albert I and Lycée François d’Assise – Nicolas Barré, recorded a 98.98 % success rate in the general series. Even more striking, 83.96 % of candidates earned mentions (honours), including 65 “Très Bien” (very good) recognitions and six “Félicitations du Jury”—testaments to exceptional performances.

Solid Results in Tech and Vocational Streams

The technological stream came in strong, with a 94.12 % pass rate and 64.17 % mentions, while the vocational programme at Lycée Rainier III achieved 95.59 % success, complemented by 69.12 % mentions—and among these, 11 “Très Bien”, two of which received jury commendations.

Higher Education Hits 100 %

The excellence didn’t stop at secondary school. Higher education exams at Rainier III achieved perfect records: 100 % success in BTS programs such as Support to Managerial Action and Accounting & Management, while the Hospitality & Restaurant Management BTS saw 16 out of 17 pass.

Accolades and Ongoing Excellence

In total, more than 320 mentions were awarded—a figure officially noted by the Princely Government, which also praised the efforts of educators, administrators, and the Department of National Education, Youth and Sports . These outcomes firmly uphold Monaco’s tradition of academic distinction: the 2025 pass rate improved on 2024’s 97 % and closely matched 2023’s 97.6 %, approaching the near-flawless scores seen in 2022 (after resits).

These numbers reflect more than a successful year—they signal a thriving educational ecosystem, kept aloft by consistency, celebration, and collective commitment.
