Monaco’s Palais Metropole Hotel Garners Three Distinctive Awards
The results of the 2019 Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards, its 32nd year, are out. They were first held in 1998, so that is more than three decades of voting. More than 600,000 registered voters, made choices of thousands of favourite traveller destinations and services of which a stand-out is Monaco’s Palais Métropole which appears in the top 5 Hotels.
Good news obviously for Director General of the Metropolis, Serge Ethuin who is also just on the receiving end of two other awards for a hotel he describes as a rare place uniting the world’s finest signatures in narrative design, top-notch fashion and star-rated gastronomy.
Multiple Villagiature Prizes
Together with its success in the Condé Nast Traveller awards the Métropole Monte-Carlo, was nominated in four categories this year and received two trophies in the 2019 edition of the Prix Villégiature. Palais Métropole won for “Best Hotel Service” and its collaboration with Givenchy earned it “Best Hotel Spa” in Europe. A jury composed of influential journalists from 15 different nationalities singled out the Monaco’s Palais Métropole for these distinctive awards.
