From July 6th to August 16th, concerts and performances will take over two of Monaco’s most iconic venues: the Opéra Garnier and the Salle des Étoiles during the 17th edition of the Monte-Carlo Summer Festival. The festival’s star-studded line-up, organised under the artistic direction of Alfonso Ciulla, was recently unveiled by the SBM.
Highlights include he legendary Stars 80 concert (in support of Fight Aids Monaco), Sam Smith and the incredible Diana Krall. Jamiroquai will headline the Monaco Red Cross Gala. Duran Duran will make their grand return along with Myriam Farès, Il Volo and Lenny Kravitz (who will perform two concerts!). New music will also be featured in the festival with Jorja Smith, who will perform hip hop and R&B.
Stars 80 Encore! An evening for Fight Aids Monaco
The new Stars 80 tour, called Encore, is coming to the Salle des Étoiles on 6 July. The phenomenon will be bringing Sabrina, Emile & Images, Patrick Hernandez, Jean-Pierre Mader, William from Début de Soirée, Christiane from Zouk Machine and Joniece Jamison, Phil Barney and Vivien Savage to the stage for an exceptional show. The artists will be paying tribute to legendary hits by 80s icons. The evening will be in support of the Fight Aids Monaco association, which is celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year.
