The inspiration came during a visit to Paris, when Angela Orlov encountered Les Nubiens, the celebrated sculpture by Louis-Ernest Barrias at the Musée d’Orsay. Captivated by its beauty, symbolism, and strength, she envisioned a new creative language for high jewellery.
From that moment emerged the crocodile—a powerful symbol of resilience, elegance, and mystery.
Rather than simply reproducing the animal’s form, ORLOV reinterpreted its distinctive scales and dramatic spikes into sophisticated jewellery creations. The result is a collection that is both daring and refined, instantly recognizable yet timeless in its appeal.
