The Pink Ribbon Monaco Gala is a unique opportunity to support a worthy cause. As one of the most challenging breast cancers to detect, lobular breast cancer is a devastating illness that affects countless women and their families.
The evening will be set to the tune of the award-winning musician, author and philanthropist Zhang Zhang and her 7-piece orchestra. From Mancini to Morricone,
Sinatra to Peggy Lee, Dean Martin to Ella Fitzgerald, this talented performer and her band will transport you with renditions of timeless classics.
Thanks to the support of the Societé des Bains de Mer and its teams, Pink Ribbon Monaco Gala also offers a unique opportunity for guests to participate in playing such pre-dinner games as French Roulette and blackjack. Although no monetary prizes will be awarded, lucky winners will take home fun prizes, adding yet another dimension to the evening. Each guest will be given a first chip, and additional chips can be purchased for 100€, with all proceeds going to support lobular breast cancer research at Monaco’s Princess Grace Hospital.

About Pink Ribbon Monaco
Founded in 2011, Pink Ribbon Monaco is the first association in the region to mark breast cancer awareness month by illuminating buildings in pink. The organisation, led by Natasha Frost-Savio, focuses on early detection and awareness through events like the Pink Ribbon Walk in February and the annual Pink Lights in October. These events convey messages of support, encourage early screening, and aim to save lives. As a Comittee for the Protection and Promotion of Women’s Rights (DFM) member, Pink Ribbon Monaco is dedicated to enhancing gender equality. Collaborating with the Princely government, National Council, Ministry of Health, and Princess Grace Hospital, the association has championed awareness, health, and unity for over a decade.
About Zhang Zhang
Zhang Zhang, a classically trained violinist born near the Imperial Summer Palace in Peking, is a captivating force in music and humanitarianism. As a member of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Zhang Zhang Band leader, she seamlessly blends her musical prowess with a nomadic upbringing spanning Asia, North America, and Europe. Beyond her musical roles, Zhang Zhang is an ardent advocate for peace and universalism. Honored with the 2022 Prix Jean Pierre-Bloch from Licra, Zhang Zhang is a recognised opinion leader, public speaker, and columnist. Her autobiography, “La Voie de l’archet,” published by Edition Fayard on September 20th, 2023, is now available in bookstores in France and Monaco, offering a captivating insight into her extraordinary journey.
