Prince Albert II of Monaco shares some pearls of father-of-twins wisdom with George Clooney

Princess Grace Kelly’s son, father of twins Prince Albert has shared some advice for soon-to-be dad George Clooney.

“George should pour himself a good cup of coffee each morning,” the Monaco royal told. “I know that sounds pretty standard but it’s really, really important.” Apart from “strong coffee,” Albert, who shares two-year-old twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella with wife Princess Charlene, also suggested “easy reading.”

Luckily for Albert and Charlene, they weren’t faced with too many restless nights. “Fortunately for Charlene and for me, that was never really an issue,” the 59-year-old royal admitted. “Gabriella and Jacques were relatively good sleepers from the start. Of course, there were — still are — nights where they have to be in the bedroom with us.”

Monaco’s Princess Charlene wants her royal twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, to know their heritage

In a rare television interview during her recent five-day trip to South Africa for her foundation and the South African Red Cross, Princess Charlene opened up about her strong ties to Africa.

“I am African,” she told, “this is my home. It will always be. It’s in my heart, it’s in my veins and it always will be”.

The Princess says her two-year-old twins will grow to love South Africa.

“I can’t wait for them to come here. I can’t wait for them to be introduced to Africa.”

When asked how the 2-year-old twins were, she said candidly: “Actually, they’re really a handful. They’re beautiful, they’re smart. Full of energy. I really hope that in the next couple of years I’ll be able to bring them to South Africa, that would be an amazing moment for me.”
