Leonardo Jardim’s relaxing days on the ski slopes have fast melted away. And those serene evenings considering offers from soccer clubs in China, Saudi Arabia (and then perhaps targeted by Lyon) – they are history. His dream of one day being back at Monaco became reality as fast as if he had been struck by a bolt of lightning.

Life will rapidly heat up for him now after a reported meeting in a Monaco restaurant with his Agent Jorge Mendes and Vadim Vasiliyev, Vice President of AS Monaco. The deal is done – Jardim is officially back as coach of AS Monaco only three and a half months after being fired and replaced by Thierry Henry.

Helios Apartments Get A Green Light As Apolline Races To Completion

Apolline Apartments Race To Completion; Helios On Track To Start

Albert Croesi has a green light now to “troubleshoot” the completion of renovations at the Helios apartments. The Monegasque property developer Satri has reached an agreement with the Government on financing all the work. It’s a 50:50 cost-sharing approach because the work to be done will follow a more rigorous plan than just fixing the obvious problems in the apartments. Fortunately the Helios problems do not involve the plumbing and sanitation head-aches that made the Apolline renovation so complex. Helios is entirely different but there will be extensive work removing all the woodfibre in the corridors.

The project hopes to provide answers to major commercial, urban and ecological issues.

Charles II and the Miracle of Saint Devote

Charles II and the Miracle of Saint Devote

Charles II, eldest son of Honore I and Isabella Grimaldi, took over as Lord of Monaco on the death of his father in 1581. It was a time of great power rivalry in Europe between France and Spain. During the childhood of his father Honore I, under a decision of Augustin, Honore’s uncle acting as Regent, Monaco had formally switched allegiances away from France and become a protectorate of Spain.

The Monaco Chamber of Commerce (MEB) hits a new stride this March 21st. And to mark the occasion it will be at Monaco Yacht Club that MEB members will be granted a few hours reprieve from their busy weeks to celebrate the 20th anniversary of “MEB Missions Accomplished” all over the globe.

By that time Monaco will already have another mission under its belt, in India this time, with heightened visibility in New Delhi following an official visit from Prince Albert.
