Prince Albert II delivered his address to the 80th United Nations General Assembly on September 24. The Sovereign called for reform of the international organization.

In his speech, Prince Albert II said that Monaco has ratified more than 270 treaties during its time within the UN. He also said that Monaco strongly condemns the war of aggression against Ukraine and the violence has resulted in unacceptable human losses. He concluded by stating that the reform of the UN must restore the confidence of peoples and bring them together within an effective structure centred on its founding values.

Prince Albert II rings Nasdaq bell in New York and raises $73 million for ReOcean

The Sovereign opened the financial market by ringing the Nasdaq bell on Wall Street on September 22. Prince Albert II was in New York to attend Climate Week, where he made a big announcement: the Prince Albert II Foundation (FPA2) and Monaco Asset Management raised $73 million for the private equity fund ReOcean, which aims to invest €100 million in the next generation of ocean innovations. The announcement was broadcast live on television from Times Square.

Prince Albert II attends UN Conference for Peace in New York

Prince Albert II attended the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly and took part in a conference about Palestine, co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia in New York.

Monaco has officially joined more than 150 states that recognize Palestine as a sovereign state.

In a statement on October 7, 2023, the Sovereign requested that all hostages must be released, and that Hamas must be disarmed.

True to his commitment to international law and peace between peoples, the Sovereign now declared: “Peace can no longer remain a distant prospect, it must be embodied in institutions, in mutual guarantees, and in effective respect for the rights of all….Peace cannot be decreed, it is built by a common will.”

Camille Gottlieb and Eva Longoria bring Global Gift Gala to Monaco

The Global Gift Gala will make its grand debut in Monaco, at the iconic Salle Empire of the Hôtel de Paris on October 4, 2025. The Monaco edition of the Global Gift Gala is co-organized by CMC, the consulting agency founded by Camille Gottlieb and Médy Anthony. International star, Eva Longoria will serve as Honorary Chair of the glamorous philanthropic evening.

The charity gala will bring together a lineup of star guests, including Baptiste Giabiconi, Christina Milian, and Vitaa, among many others. The Global Gift Philanthropic Award will be presented to Daddy Yankee. The Humanitarian Award will be presented to HSH Princess Stephanie of Monaco, in recognition of her enduring humanitarian commitment.

Princess Caroline presents diplomas to IFSI and IFAS students

The Princess of Hanover presented the “Brigitte Boccone-Pagès” class of the Nursing Training Institute (IFSI) and the graduating class of the Nursing Assistant Training Institute (IFAS) with their diplomas on September 23 at the Princess Grace Hospital Centre (CHPG).

18 new IFSI nurses and 17 new IFAS nursing assistants received their diplomas and badges. Princess Caroline is patron of the Institute.

Princess Charlene presents Ballon d’Or Award to Xana de Luis Enrique Foundation

The Princess presented the Socrates award, created by Peace and Sport and the L’Equipe group, to the Xana de Luis Enrique Foundation at the 69th Ballon d’Or ceremony, in Paris on 22 September. Seven champions of peace, ambassadors of Peace and Sport, attended the ceremony.

By honouring the Xana Foundation, the jury highlighted the work of Spanish coach Luis Enrique, who supports children with serious illnesses and their families. Beyond medical support, the foundation provides psychological and financial assistance. Luis Enrique’s daughter died in 2019 at the age of 9 from bone cancer. 

Prince Albert II celebrates 50 years of Monaco Private Security

The Sovereign celebrated the Monegasque private security company’s 50th anniversary, along with 190 guests, on 19 September on the Monte-Carlo Beach terrace. Pierre Casiraghi, Minister of State Christophe Mirmand, President of the National Council, Thomas Brezzo and President of the SBM, Stephane Valeri were also in attendance.

‘Monaco Sécurité Privée’ was founded in 1975 by four partners, under the leadership of HSH Prince Rainier III. Its workforce has reached 120 permanent employees, reinforced by nearly 200 seasonal workers during the summer, serving 1,500 partners. 

Monaco and Singapore seal Diplomatic Partnership at UN

Prince Albert II attended the signing of a historic agreement between Monaco and Singapore on 24 September during the annual session of the UN General Assembly. Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, head of Monegasque diplomacy, and her Singaporean counterpart, Vivian Balakrishnan, signed the document. The two small territories with dynamic economies now plan to discuss collaborating in the economic, cultural and environmental fields.

Princess Alexandra attends Tod’s Fashion Show in Milan

Princess Alexandra attended Tod’s Spring/Summer 2026 Fashion Show during Milan Fashion on September 26. Soft leather in browns, blacks and whites were showcased during the runway show. Princess Alexandra wore a wine-coloured leather shirt by Tod’s with a lipstick in a matching hue.
