AS Monaco is pleased to announce the signing of a first professional contract for Nazim Babaï. The right winger — trained at the Academy — has signed with the Club through 2026.
Following a full season with the Elite Group, punctuated by several experiences with the firs team, Nazim Babaï, 20 since January 14, has signed a first professional contract with AS Monaco. Having joined the Club in 2018, from Trélissac, the native of Périgueux, in Dordogne, has steadily moved through the ranks at the Academy.
A constant development
This season, under Damien Perrinelle, Nazim Babaï has played several games with the Elite Group, notably showing himself to be decisive by with an assist in the 2-0 victory against Manchester United.
A versatile player also able to play as a fullback, the winger tasted the professional world by being called up to the squad for the win against Trabzonspor in October (3-1, Europa League). A few months later, during the World Cup break, Nazim was able to have more experiences with the first team during friendlies against Spezia, Fiorentina and Empoli.
AS Monaco wish him all the best in Rouge et Blanc!
