Where to go in Monaco: Larvotto Beach and the Champions Promenade

Boulevard du Larvotto was inaugurated in 1956 on the site of an old railway built at the end of the 19th century in a swampy area. Nowadays Larvotto Beach is one of Monaco’s most popular summer places and the Champions Promenade is the perfect place for strolling at any time.

Walking along the coastline you will see a futuristic building made of stone and glass – the Grimaldi Forum. It is the newest conference centre created in order to maintain Monaco’s image as a place for international conferences and business events.

Take a look at the Champions Promenade located next to the Grimaldi Forum. Here you will see a whole collection of footprints left by football players who were granted the Golden Foot award. You can have fun comparing your feet to those of legendary Diego Maradona, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho or Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
