1. Lurssen superyacht Solandge sold
85.6m Solandge was sold as the largest brokerage deal of 2017 so far with Moran representing the seller and SSH Maritime bringing in the buyer. Listed in August ’15 asking €175m, her asking price at the time of sale was €155 million.
2. 48m yacht Elsa runs ashore in Saba
48m Elsa ran ashore in Ladder Bay, Saba, 20nm away from St Maarten. No injuries were reported but some environmental pollution occurred. Owners have been reported to work with local authorities on resolution.
3. Ferretti Group introduces Pershing 82 VHP
Ferretti Group has announced the makeover of its famous coupé, Pershing 82 VHP. Created by the yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni in partnership with the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, the vessel features completely reworked furnishings that have been enriched with stylish new detailing and refined wood.
4. Benetti to build 35m for Tokyo Government
Azimut Benetti won a contract to build a custom 35m yacht for the Government of Tokyo. To be built by a special team at their Livorno facility, the 35m will have a conference room for up to 35 guests and a draft of 1.25m.
5. Icon Yachts unveils Project Gotham interiors
Dutch shipyard, ICON yachts have unveiled more details on the 46m Project Gotham that it developed together with brokerage firm, Bristow Holmes. Scheduled for delivery in Spring 2019, the yacht will accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 cabins.
6. Bilgin 156 nearing delivery
Turkish shipyard, Bilgin Yachts is set to deliver its 47.5m Bilgin 156 soon. Designed by H2 and Unique Yacht Design, the yacht will boast 5 cabins for 10 guests and sit right below the 500GT mark.
