Surprised! Look at this Array of AS Monaco Achievements after the Triumph at Brest

Winners of the showdown on the 30th matchday of Ligue 1 at the Francis Le Blé stadium (0-2), AS Monaco extended their streak of consecutive away victories to five.

They’ve done it! Despite the pressure associated with the context and the recent home record of Stade Brestois (unbeaten since October 29), the Rouge et Blanc showed character to secure three points in Brittany (0-2). A well-deserved triumph that validates the numbers of the current momentum, extending it further.

Brest had not lost a home match in Ligue 1 without scoring since September 18, 2022 (0-1 against Ajaccio). This is only their second defeat at Francis-le-Blé in L1 in 2023-2024 (8 wins, 5 draws), after October 29, 2023, against Paris Saint-Germain (2-3).

Monaco chose to play with a three-man defense because Brest is the best team in Ligue 1 for crosses. They certainly have the best header in the league with Steve Mounié. With three imposing players in the Centre , Monaco had the means to respond, and defended well as a team.

It’s a very good thing for Monaco to have been able to win in Brest, where it’s never easy to come and win. Their last defeat in their stadium was on October 29 against Paris Saint-Germain.

Never 2 without 3

AS Monaco has recorded three consecutive victories in Ligue 1 (5-2 against Metz, 1-0 against Rennes, 2-0 against Brest) for the first time since September-October 2023 (also 3).

The Rouge et Blanc have won seven of their last eight away games in Ligue 1 (1 draw), as many as in the previous 19 (7 draws, 5 defeats). They now boast a run of five consecutive victories away from home.

The club from the Rock now has a record of 12 wins, 2 draws, and 0 defeats after opening the scoring in Ligue 1 this season.

From the Starting-blocks
AS Monaco has now scored 28 goals in 29 matches in the first half in this 2023-2024 season! Only Paris Saint-Germain (34) has scored more in Ligue 1 this season.

Lead at Half-Time and Don’t Yield!

AS Monaco is undefeated in their last 42 Ligue 1 matches after leading at halftime (35 wins, 7 draws), still since May 2, 2021, against Lyon (defeat 2-3).

Takumi Minamino is AS Monaco’s most decisive player in Ligue 1 this season (contributing to 13 scoring moves of which he scored 8 himself and made 5 assists).
