A state-owned Monegasque property management company has acquired a strategic site in the form of the “Fort de la tête de Chien” previously owned by the French company “Orange” for the price of 13 million Euros,  announced the Municipal Council of La Turbie.

Two legendary megayachts: Eclipse and Galaxy Of Happiness
Eclipse spotted in St.Martin, the Caribbean Eclipse, built by German shipyard Blohm & Voss in 2010, has been recently seen in St.Martin, the Caribbean, according to YachtHarbour. Eclipse held the title of world's largest private yacht until 2013, when the 180 metre Azzam stole the crown.

The flu epidemic hit the Paca region earlier than expected
On Wednesday, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Regional Health Agency (ARS) and the Paca and Corsica Regional Intervention Unit (CireSud) made a statement that the Flu epidemic has hit the Paca region on the week of 12 to 18 December. "The epidemic is early this season".

Green Light given to “Soleil du Midi” Building on Plati Street
A building with 29 apartments will be constructed on the disused plot on Plati Street. The National Council voted Thursday night in favor of decommissioning the 109-square-metre parcel of public land between Crovetto-Frères Avenue and Plati Street.

Municipal Sports Centre Approved for 2017
Planned for 2017, the project was approved during the Municipal Council’s public meeting.  The project will draw 550,000 Euros from the financial fund. During the budget vote, the mayor approved the decision to create a municipal sports centre on the premises of the nautical stadium.
