“Dictionary for Lovers of the Theatre”, theatrical performances by and with Christophe Barbier  on Saturday 20 January, at 6.30 pm and Sunday 21 January, at 2 pm in Théâtre des Muses.

33 minutes, 33 years, during which Christophe Barbier staged sixty pieces for his amateur troupe. To write, to build sets, to hunt costumes, to direct his comedians, represent his greatest happiness. Besides, do not you confess between two direct: “If the theater is not my job, it is my life! “

This breathtaking spectacle, because it is definitely one, from the 1,196 pages of his delightful “Theater Lover’s Dictionary”, offers us as many famous anecdotes as revelations and superstitions without which the theater would not be theater. We learn, we laugh, we are moved. At the end, the author-comedian continues, by three-quarters of an hour of a brilliant talk on the relationship between his two passions: theater and politics through the centuries.
