Festival of Roses and Plants

On Saturday April 29 and Sunday April 30, 2023, the Villa and Gardens Ephrussi de Rothschild will celebrate the 12th edition of the Rose and Plant Festival. This not-to-be-missed event on the Côte d’Azur revolves around an exhibition-sale deployed in the “remarkable gardens” Ephrussi de Rothschild, and a program of entertainment for all audiences.

For a weekend, farmers, rose growers, nursery growers or producers of by-products will exhibit and share their passion and traditional know-how with garden and plant lovers, in a splendid natural setting.
This edition is a new opportunity to bring together plant lovers, garden enthusiasts and professional growers whose life is fully rooted in the earth.

Exceptionally for the Fête des Roses, the head gardener will orchestrate his team to lead educational workshops on gardening for beginners for children and adults; the local guide-lecturer will reveal the secrets of the 9 sacred gardens.

Jewels of the Belle Époque, the Villa and the Ephrussi de Rothschild Gardens will be transformed into a place for shows, concerts and exhibitions to provide a magical setting for craftsmen and artists: the virtuoso pianist Steve Villa Masonne will move his famous red piano to the heart of the French gardens; the ballet duo Lumin Art will take the ephemeral stage for a dance above the musical fountains.
