GATSBY in Theatre of the Muses

GATSBY will be on stage of Theatre de Muses from 5 to 7 November 2026 at 8 pm and 8 November 2026 at 4.30 pm.

The story of a man willing to do anything to win back her love—even at the cost of losing himself. A sweeping, grand-scale narrative.

Very loosely inspired by “The Great Gatsby”, this production transforms Fitzgerald’s novel into a theatrical cabaret, blending music, dance, clowning, and drama. Three actresses portray every character in a festive, offbeat, and minimalist staging—where dazzling appearances mask a profound sense of loneliness. Through this contemporary reimagining, “Gatsby” explores our fascination with success, self-image, and the dreams we pursue—sometimes to the point of losing ourselves.

Set during the Roaring Twenties, the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby throws lavish, grand-scale parties in the hope of winning back Daisy—the woman he has always loved, now married to the wealthy Tom Buchanan. Beneath the luxury, excess, and pretense lie the lies, betrayals, and illusions of an American Dream that ultimately shatters. Gatsby discovers that neither money nor prestige can bring back the past or purchase love.
