Stephan Eicher and Osomo

Fort Antoine will resonate with the sounds of a pioneering and unclassifiable artist on July 21 at 9.30 pm. Known for his musical style that transcends the boundaries between rock, French chanson, electronic music, and pop, Stephan Eicher is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and musician.
Over the decades, Stephan Eicher has constantly reinvented himself, gradually setting aside his machines for the pleasure of playing with other musicians, exploring new artistic forms—including his solo show, directed by François Gremaud, the renowned actor who performed at Fort Antoine in 2023.
Osomo, aka Simon Bauman, a Swiss musician and producer whose compositions are distinguished by their precise and captivating electro-minimalist textures, is discreet yet formidable. He infuses everything he touches with a resolutely contemporary energy.
A magnetic encounter between the two artists’ worlds gave birth to the Duo Dolce project. With drum machines, vintage synthesizers, and unique analog effects drawn from Stephan Eicher’s personal collection, the artists will take to the stage at the Fort Antoine theater to share a vibrant, hybrid sound designed for the dance floor.
No static nostalgia here, but rather a retro-futuristic journey, somewhere between club and performance, where human interaction, pleasure, and emotion serve as a response to an artificial world.
