There are traditions in Cannes without which the Festival would be impossible to imagine. One of them is the appearance of Chopard’s dazzling jewellery masterpieces on the red carpet. Every year, creations by the Swiss Maison accompany some of the most talked-about appearances by the world’s biggest stars.
Necklaces, unique earrings and jewels from the celebrated Red Carpet Collection attract no less attention than the film premieres themselves. It is hardly surprising that Chopard’s events have long become some of the most anticipated moments of the Cannes Film Festival.
This year, the social calendar was marked by two landmark occasions: the Trophée Chopard ceremony, dedicated to rising stars of cinema, and the spectacular Miracle Gala, a show featuring world-renowned stars.
Trophée Chopard: The Future Stars of Cinema
Established in 2001 by Caroline Scheufele, President and Artistic Director of Chopard, the Trophée Chopard has long served as a benchmark for the film industry. Its principal aim is to support young actors who have already made their mark and are on the path towards international recognition. Over the past quarter of a century, recipients of the award have included Marion Cotillard, Léa Seydoux, James McAvoy, Gael García Bernal, John Boyega, Florence Pugh and Anya Taylor-Joy.
For Caroline Scheufele, the Trophée Chopard remains one of her most personal projects. For many years, she has helped discover new talent and supported young artists at the beginning of their journey towards global success. This year, the prestigious trophy was awarded to American actress Odessa A’zion and British actor Connor Swindells. The ceremony took place on the iconic Carlton Beach in the presence of stars from the international film world. The honour of presenting the award was entrusted to the legendary Isabelle Huppert, who became the godmother of the 2026 edition of the prize.
Among the guests spotted during the evening were Demi Moore, Park Chan-wook, Chloé Zhao, Stellan Skarsgård, James Franco, Andie MacDowell, Barbara Palvin and many other representatives of the international film elite and fashion industry.
Miracle Gala: A Circus of Wonders, Haute Couture and Jewellery Masterpieces
If the Trophée Chopard celebrates the future of cinema, then the Miracle Gala is a true celebration of beauty, fashion and art. This year, Chopard transported guests from the world of film into a fairy-tale universe of wonders, transforming La Palestre in Le Cannet into a gigantic circus tent adorned with thousands of lights, lavish floral arrangements and theatrical décor.

The central inspiration behind the evening was the idea of a miracle. For this reason, the programme resembled a grand spectacle in which every detail had been carefully considered. Guests were welcomed by performers from the renowned Knie Circus, alongside acrobats and dancers, while the evening reached its climax with presentations of the new Caroline’s Couture collection and the legendary Red Carpet Collection — Chopard’s high jewellery collection, created each year especially for the Cannes Film Festival. During the fashion show, legendary supermodels Eva Herzigová and Liu Wen took to the catwalk.

On the Miracle Gala red carpet, Bella Hadid, Demi Moore, Carla Bruni, Sofia Carson, Adriana Lima, Dita Von Teese, Emmanuelle Béart, Olivia Palermo, Yolanda Hadid and other celebrities dazzled the guests.

Among the evening’s most memorable moments were a performance by the Queen of Burlesque, Dita Von Teese, who brought her signature touch of theatrical glamour to the event, and an appearance on stage by British singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who performed her most famous hits and instantly transformed the evening into a true celebration.
Following a gala dinner prepared by Michelin-starred chef Bruno Oger, the festivities continued late into the night to the tracks of legendary DJ Bob Sinclar.
