Drops in Revenue and Workforce for Monaco’s Construction Sector
The last three years saw the completion of many major construction projects in the Principality, which explains the sector’s drop in revenue, according to a recent report by the Monegasque Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (IMSEE).
In 2025, revenue in Monaco’s construction sector fell by nearly one billion euros (-36.1%). This decline accounted for the biggest drop in Monaco’s total revenue (excluding Financial and insurance activities), which amounted to €1.6 billion (-7.6%) total.
Last year’s Construction turnover was €1.7 billion, about the same as it was back in 2021. Despite the drop, the sector has almost doubled over the past decade. All divisions within the sector declined, including residential and non-residential buildings, and civil engineering.

Black Jack 100 crossed the finish line first to clinch their fourth victory in a row. Remon Vos’s Maxi 100, skippered by Tristan Le Brun, both Yacht Club de Monaco members, arrived in Monaco on Thursday having set off from the Gulf of Mondello, Sicily, at 12:30 on Tuesday. The crew completed the 500-nautical-mile Palermo-Montecarlo race in 47 hours 27 minutes 2 seconds to secure a fourth line honours victory for the 100-footer, which has dominated the event since 2023 and holds the record it set in 2025 of 38 hours 53 minutes 13 seconds.
The Principality club and Paul Pogba announce the end of the venture
The Principality club and the French international midfielder jointly announce the end of the venture that began during the 2025 pre-season.
Having jointly concluded that the objectives initially set were only partially achieved, AS Monaco and Paul Pogba have decided, ahead of the first match of the new season, to bring an end to the contract that was due to run until June 2027.
