Already crowned district champions this season, Monaco United confirmed their dominance by winning the Marenco Cup after a commanding 11–0 victory over Villeneuve-Loubet in the final. Another major trophy for the Monaco club, which continues to make history in its very first season of existence.
Considered the benchmark cup competition in District 06, the Marenco Cup was a major objective for Monaco United. Carrying the status of favorites throughout the tournament, Marco Simone’s players nevertheless knew they had to prove themselves on the pitch against teams of a similar or very close level.
After a controlled run to the final, the club once again faced Villeneuve-Loubet, a side they had already defeated twice in the league this season. But as is often the case in this type of occasion, statistics and previous results no longer mattered. A final is always a special match, where focus, discipline, and composure are essential. And the Monegasques left absolutely no doubt about their intentions.
From kickoff, the team imposed total dominance through long spells of possession and relentless intensity in their play. Clear chances quickly began to pile up, and above all, the players showed remarkable efficiency in front of goal. Very early in the match, Monaco United pulled away on the scoreboard, putting their opponents under pressure from the opening minutes. Their attacking effectiveness allowed the team to head into halftime with a comfortable 4–0 lead.
This ideal scenario also gave Marco Simone the opportunity to make all the substitutions he had planned. At the final whistle, the 11–0 scoreline sealed a high-quality performance and a completely controlled final. Another symbolic victory highlighting the superiority Monaco United has displayed this season across District 06 competitions.

It is already a historic occasion for Monaco United, which has become the first District team ever to reach the final of this prestigious competition, bringing together clubs competing at significantly higher levels.
