Open House for Youth at Monaco’s New Espace Lamartine
Monaco’s new Espace Lamartine, which opened its doors last year, is hosting an open house for 16-23 year olds on Saturday 23 March 2024 from 12 pm to 9:30 pm. On the program: activities, sports challenges, games, dances and a musical evening with a DJ.
“An opportunity not to be missed to discover this new space, full of activities and good times!” states a press release by Monaco’s Town Hall.
The activity and leisure space is aimed at Monegasques, residents and schoolchildren ages 16 and over and officially opened in September 2023. Since then, teams have been organising various indoor and outdoor activities, workshops, games and themed evenings for people of all ages.
Open House Program
- Free tour of the building from 12 pm to 5 pm.
- 12 pm-2 pm: snacks and meetings with the facilitators.
- 2 pm-5 pm: demonstration of activities (1 session every 30 min) sports challenge, orienteering games, cardio-drum, rhythmic fitness, line dancing and crafts
- 5 pm-6:30 pm: games, challenges, board games
- 6:30 pm-9:30 pm DJ evening + many surprises!
The 1000 m2 space is located at 19 boulevard Princesse Charlotte. The Espace Lamartine’s open house is free of charge upon presentation of a Monegasque identity card, resident card or proof of schooling in an establishment in the Principality.
The Espace Lamartine offers members access to several spaces, including a creative leisure room (for drawing, painting, crafting, etc.), a computer room, a conference room (equipped with a stage and audio equipment for rehearsals, public speaking training, etc.) and a singing room (where people can play music and sing together). Espace Lamartine also offers fitness classes, gentle gym, yoga, pilates, Nordic walking, aqua relaxation and muscle awakening. Workshops include computering, cooking, singing, DIY and more.
The price for an annual membership at the Espace Lamartine is €200 (or €120 for students and for people ages 60+). A quarterly membership is €55 and one month trial membership is available for €25.
