As Monaco prepares once again for the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de MonacoTM 2026, one event is already positioning itself as one of the defining lifestyle experiences of the weekend.
From 5–7 June 2026, for three days of celebration, SUNSET returns to the shore of the Méridien Beach Plaza for its highly anticipated 13th edition, transforming one of Monaco’s most beautiful waterfront locations into a vibrant world of music, gastronomy, art and celebration.
Over the years, SUNSET has evolved far beyond the idea of a beach party. What began as a private gathering created by Monaco entrepreneurs Thomas Peeters and Cédric Houdrouge has become one of the Principality’s most sought-after Grand PrixTM rendezvous, a place where Formula 1TM excitement, Mediterranean freedom and international lifestyle culture converge.
And this year, SUNSET enters a bold new chapter.
Casa SUNSET x Mauro Colagreco
For 2026, the event unveils Casa SUNSET x Mauro Colagreco, an exceptional collaboration with internationally celebrated chef Mauro Colagreco, who has earned worldwide recognition and multiple Michelin distinctions including 8 Michelin Stars. The arrival of Colagreco introduces a completely new dimension to the SUNSET universe, blending the ultimate in fine dining with the relaxed elegance and festive spirit that have become the event’s signature.
Facing the Mediterranean, Casa SUNSET has been imagined as an immersive open-air dining destination where gastronomy becomes part of the rhythm of the Grand PrixTM weekend itself. Guests will experience a refined four-act tasting menu inspired by some of the chef’s most emblematic creations, served in an atmosphere where music, design, conversation and sea air flow together effortlessly.
It is precisely this balance that makes SUNSET unique during Monaco’s busiest and most glamorous weekend.
While the Principality pulses to the sound of Formula 1TM engines and celebrations unfold across Monte-Carlo, SUNSET offers something slightly different: a more relaxed yet undeniably sophisticated Riviera atmosphere where barefoot luxury replaces rigid formality. Here, international visitors, Monaco residents, artists, athletes, Formula 1TM personalities and creatives gather together around a shared desire to celebrate the moment.
The 2026 edition also promises a complete visual reinvention.
This year’s scenography combines artistic installations, light effects, glossy textures, floral compositions and sculptural elements inspired by the Mediterranean spirit. Organized around a central circular bar with additional lifestyle activations along the beach, the venue has been designed to create a seamless flow between daytime relaxation, sunset celebration and late-night energy.
La Petite Plage
La Petite Plage, meanwhile, returns with a stronger identity and its own secondary stage, extending the musical atmosphere throughout the evening with local DJs curating a soundtrack designed specifically for the setting sun over the Mediterranean. Barefoot in the sand, a drink in hand, with the Mediterranean as a backdrop, guests move to the rhythm of DJ sets, carried by the moment.
Music remains at the very heart of the SUNSET identity.
The 2026 line-up brings together internationally recognised names from the electronic music scene alongside emerging talents and regional artists from Monaco and the Riviera. From sunset sessions to after-parties continuing until 3am, the musical programming is designed to create the kind of immersive atmosphere that has made SUNSET internationally recognised among Grand PrixTM insiders and luxury lifestyle travellers alike.

Art will also play a major role this year with an exclusive exhibition by contemporary artist Fred Allard. Several monumental and iconic works will be presented during the event, including previously unseen pieces unveiled publicly for the first time.
Naturally, SUNSET’s growing international reputation has attracted an impressive guest list over the years. Celebrities, athletes, actors, musicians and Formula 1TM personalities have all been spotted enjoying the event’s unique atmosphere, including Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen, Pierre Gasly, Matteo Berrettini, Justin Bieber, Bella Hadid, Bob Sinclar, Adrien Brody and Jason Derulo.
Yet despite its celebrity appeal, SUNSET has retained something distinctly Monaco about its identity.
Created by Monaco-based founders and deeply connected to the Principality’s Grand PrixTM culture, the event reflects a modern vision of Monaco itself: international yet intimate, luxurious yet relaxed, glamorous yet welcoming.
As day turns into sunset and sunset transforms into night, the experience evolves continuously, from beach club atmosphere to gastronomic destination to late-night celebration beneath the Riviera sky. Around midnight, Casa SUNSET reinvents itself and opens a new chapter: the after-party.
And as tradition dictates, a fireworks display will bring the celebrations to a close with a spectacular grand finale SUNSET captures something essential about Monaco in summer: elegance without effort, celebration without excess, and the rare feeling that for a few unforgettable days, the entire Principality is living in the same perfect moment.
