At an official event held in Monaco, Peace and Sport’s President and former Olympic medalist Joel Bouzou joined His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, in calling for both athletes and citizens across the globe to participate in the annual #WhiteCard campaign. The initiative encourages people to take images of themselves holding up “white cards for peace” before posting them to social media.

4. Monaco’s 6th Book Fair – Literature Lovers

 

The 6th edition of the Monaco Book Fair (Salon du Livre de Monaco) took place on the 25th and 26th of March at the Méridien Beach Plaza Hotel in their sea-view Salon Atlantique.

This unique event, placed under the High Patronage of S.A.S. Prince Albert II, was created in 2012 by the association “Les Rencontres Littéraires Fabian Boisson” to promote the diverse aspects of literature to the public.

The festival will unfold throughout the department and may become a regular event. The estimated budget for it is €600,000. The month of festivities dedicated to the richness of the Azurean landscapes, will be divided into two parts: the main festival, which includes a competition for creating landscapes and an “off” festival.
