1. Casper Marelis unveils project Equal
Casper Marelis, one of the three finalists in Boat International Media’s “Young Designer of the Year Awards”, has introduced project Equal.
The design of MY Equal is based on the owners request of having a yacht with two equally looking tenders. The tenders should complement the exterior styling of the yacht so that’s where Marelis started this design task.

The result is a low profile 80 metre yacht with dedicated decks for (water) sports, parties, relaxing and an evening around the fireplace. The owner will be able to get to this luxury with a limousine tender and board in comfort and safety due to the easy access boarding system. The second sporty general tender can be used for fishing and day long exploring. All bring their equal shares to the owners yachting experience.

2. Third Navetta 37 launched in Ancona

On Monday 29 May, Custom Line launched the third Navetta 37, the first one fully built in the Ferretti Group’s yard in Ancona. The Navetta 37, made for a yacht owner from the Middle East, features dynamic, elegant lines and great attention to detail.

3. Navetta 42 under construction at Custom Line

The Ferretti Group has introduced the Navetta 42 at Yachts Miami Beach. Measuring 42m, she is the biggest semi-displacement hull ever built by Custom Line. Studio Zuccon International Project, Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, and the Group’s Engineering Department have joined forces to design the yacht.

4. Benetti launches 38m yacht Lejos 3

BF104 M/Y Lejos 3, a 38 meter superyacht from Benetti’s Fast line, has been launched on Tuesday, May 23 at the Italian shipyard in Viareggio. The vessel is the fourth Fast 125’ unit to be built by Benetti. Fitted with the innovative Azipull Carbon propulsion system, she will be delivered to the owner in the coming months.

5. Faith spotted in Monaco

Recently delivered superyacht Faith has been recently spotted in the South of France. She saw the light of day on Wednesday 23 November, which is when the superyacht left the construction hall at Feadship facility in Makkum. She measures 96.55m/ 316.8ft and has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Redman Whiteley Dixon was responsible for the exterior design, Chahan Interior for the interior and De Voogt Naval Architects for the naval architecture.
