Specialised Exhibition – Astana EXPO 2017 Presentation of Monaco’s Pavilion

At the end of March H.E. Ms. Evelyne Genta, Ambassador of Monaco to Kazakhstan, H.E. Ms. Mireille Pettiti, President of Monaco Inter Expo, and the Monaco Inter Expo team presented the Pavilion for the Specialised Exhibition at the Astana Expo 2017, in the presence of Christophe Steiner, President of the National Council, Mr. Georges Marsan, Mayor of Monaco, H.E. Mr. Philippe Narmino, Vice president of the Red Cross and many dignitaries.

Focusing on the theme of the Exhibition, “Energy of the Future,” the Principality wished to highlight the environmental approach, especially in terms of energy.

The theme of the pavilion, “REFLECTING THE FUTURE”, is illustrated by a dialogue between reflection on the theme of the environment and the screening materials used.  It centres on the theme of Monaco’s reflection in the Mediterranean Sea and reflection on the duality between Man and Nature.

The shape, design and choice of content are closely linked to the wish to highlight issues related to energy transition and the Principality’s good environmental practices.

As a reminder, the Specialised Exhibition will be held in Astana from 10 June to 10 September 2017.
