AS Monaco unveil their kits for the 2021-2022 season

AS Monaco and Kappa® are pleased to present the new home and away kits for the 2021-2022 season.

A few weeks after unveiling its new identity – built around the new brand, RISE. RISK. REPEAT. – the club today reveals, along with Kappa, their new home and away kits in a video featuring players from the first team and the Academy, in the company of rapper Krisy.

For their third consecutive season of collaboration, AS Monaco and Kappa have joined forces to design jerseys that combine the brand’s DNA, elegance and technology, as well as the club’s history and identity. With the KOMBAT™ PRO 2022 jersey, players will benefit from the Kombat Pro System technology so dear to Kappa, in the form of what is an ultra-resistant, elastic and breathable material.

Built around the legendary Diagonal, the 2021-2022 home jersey features, for the first time, a new shade of red called “tango red”. The historic Diagonal, created by Princess Grace of Monaco 61 years ago, is now oriented at 55 ° on the front of the jersey only, where title sponsor eToro’s logo will be displayed for the first time, respecting the team’s color scheme.

The Kappa logo will be rendered in white monochrome, just like the club’s crest, opposite the heart. The Monegasque crown is also represented, on the back of the jersey on the collar. The jersey has a classic round neck on which is inscribed RISE.RISK.REPEAT.. The Home kit is completed with red shorts and white socks.

Halfway between white and black, grey is a shade associated with calm and softness. However, the anthracite grey present on AS Monaco’s new away kit is reminiscent of the colour of carbon, a material present in Formula 1 cars.

The front is an all-over print of thin, tone-on-tone, 55° Diagonals and it brings to this kit an unprecedented dynamism and depth. This kit refers to the idea of speed, elegance and “RISK”. This AWAY jersey has a crossed V-neck featuring a grey-red color combo, which is also replicated on the sleeves and on the bottom back part of the jersey.

The logo of main sponsor eToro is displayed on the chest in white, as are the Kappa logo and the club’s crest. The kit is completed with charcoal gray shorts and socks.

The 2021-22 HOME jersey was worn at the official launch video by Aleksandr Golovin, Wissam Ben Yedder, Aurélien Tchouameni and Krépin Diatta while the AWAY jersey was worn by Youssouf Fofana, Kevin Volland and Caio Henrique. Watch the launch video, featuring rapper Krisy, below.

AS Monaco will begin their series of pre-season matches this Saturday against RB Salzburg, which will allow the Monaco players to show off the new training kits.

You can now find the 21-22 Kappa x AS Monaco collection on the online shop or at the official store – Les Jardins d’Apolline, 1 Promenade Honoré II, 98000 Monaco – and on the Kappa website.
