This Wednesday afternoon was special for the princely family. Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene were handing out Christmas gifts to 600 Monegasque children at the Palace, with their own two year-olds, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, helping out at the event.
The Prince and the Princess have had a very busy schedule lately. Prince Albert was on a visit to North America where he spoke at the meeting of the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco. He highlighted the urgency of recognizing the global climate change.
As to Princess Charlene, this weekend she took part in a summit dedicated to children’s rights in India. She also specially went to see the rural families suffering from the AIDS crisis.
