Film screening: “Dante – Pupi Avati” is organized on Friday 3 February 2023, at 8 p.m. in Théâtre des Variétés.

The film recounts with great passion Dante Alighieri, the one who promoted the Italian language in the world. The historical, linguistic and literary reconstruction carried out by ‘Maestro’ Pupi Avati, does not resort to the emblematic, expected and worn-out portrait of the poet with the laurel wreath, but makes us relive all the pain and love that the great poet endured in his life, betting on a first-rate cast and an immersive scenography that immerses us in the atmosphere of the time.

The public is expected from 7:20 p.m.: on stage and in the foyer some costumes from the film will be exhibited by its creator, M Andrea Sorrentino.
