Monaco is slowly moving into the summer, taking some rest from the hectic end of May and accumulating forces before numerous summer festivals.
If you want to relax and please your sight you simply must visit the 50th International Bouquet Competition on the themes of “Tribute to Princess Grace” and “Return to some competitions of 1968-1982”, organized by the Garden Club de Monaco on Saturday 10 June, from 17h30 to 20h and Sunday 11 June from 10h to 18h30 Espace Fontvieille.
Another way to relax is to go to Jardin Exotique that is hosting this weekend Exhibition of bonsai on the theme of “The Beautiful Mornings of June”from Friday 9 June to Sunday 11 June.
In partnership with the Bonsai Club of Monaco, La Mairie de Monaco organizes an event devoted to bonsai and suiseki “The Beautiful Mornings of June” (“Les Jolis Matins de Juin”), in the prestigious setting of the Jardin Exotique.
On 10 and 11 June 2017 you will be able to admire bonsai from all over the world to be exhibited and this year for the fourth time an international exhibition of “Shohin” with a European trophy on 1st Shohin European Monaco members trophy.
Demonstrations of techniques, creation and maintenance on bonsai art will be carried out by Master Takéo Kawabe, world-renowned Japanese master. This enthusiast does not hesitate to put his great knowledge within the reach of the beginners.
If you want something more dynamic than 35th Monte-Carlo International Swimming Meeting is for you. Organised by the Monegasque Swimming Federation it will take place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June, Piscine Olympique Albert II, Stade Louis II.
However if you prefer acting yourself rather than watching there is Global Wellness Day hosted by World Class Gym and STARS’N’BARS on Saturaday June 10, 2017 from 12 pm to 5 pm.

For art lovers this weekend a place to be is Monaco Artists’ Forum organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs from Saturday 10 June to Sunday 11 June, Auditorium Rainier III.
The 3rd Monaco Artists’ Forum is opening at the Rainier III Auditorium – 87 creative artists, both amateur and professional, Monegasques and residents, working in painting, photography and sculpture, are showing their work at the Auditorium until Sunday 11 June 2017, transforming this venue into a veritable art gallery.
This year, for the first time, the public will be able to vote for their favourite work, the name of which will be announced at the end of the event. The Monaco Artists’ Forum is open every day from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is open to all and admission is free.
