On Friday in Monaco begins Deep Klassified Music Festival, an artistic and cultural project combining electronic music, art and well-being. The very first electronic festival of music of Monaco, ethnic and fascinating Deep Klassified Music Festival proposes a total disorientation to the followers of cultural escape, the whole declined in a scenography ” 100 % jungle “.

After the success of his 35th album, Guitar Man, which appeared in 2011, he came out in 2013 with Inspiration, an homage to Nat King Cole, one of the artists who has guided his calling and one of his all-time favorite singers. Who knows what he has in store for the public at the Salle des Etoiles for his appearance at the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival? The best, by all means!

And not far from Monaco there are quite a few music festivals. One of them is held in an ancient olive grove just off the seaside. Les Nuits Guitares in the tiny village of Beaulieu-sur-mer is its entry in the jazz fest madness that overtakes the French Riviera every July. For 3 nights from July 27-29, 2016, this summer fest strums its heart out for guitar-lovers.
With Panda Events and Directoproductions, the Beaulieu Guitar Nights (27th-29th July) are still a great success. The Israeli folk-rocker Asaf Avidan will open the festival in a beautiful way. Amir, finalist of the third season of The Voice and worthy ambassador of France to Eurovision 2016, will take over. The final word will be for the ever-young Calypso Rose, 75, and that young energy that seduced Manu Chao. Tickets range between 27,90€ and 73,00€
Once again a prestigious schedule is offered for the Menton Classical Music Festival. From 29 July to 13 August, this 68th edition will be launched by Turkish pianist Fazil Say, other renowned pianists (Nelson Freire, Christian Zacharias, Lars Vogt …), as well as violinists Renaud Capuçon, clarinettist JörgWidmann and baroque singer Marie-Nicole Lemieux. A rich and open programme, at the Saint-Michel square and the Jean-Cocteau museum. Tickets range between 10€ and 416€.
Another festival is also going on in Nice: for its 60th anniversary, the Summer Academy of Nice is promising graceful evenings from 19 July to 12 August at the monastery of Cimiez. With the cellist Marc Coppey, the pianist and director of the Academy Olivier Gardon, or the pianist of the vintage Marie-Josèphe Jude. Meanwhile on Sunday in Monaco you can listen to a Symphonic concert by the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Kazuki Yamada with Daishin Kashimoto, violin on 30 July, at 9.30 pm Palais Princier – Cour d’Honneur. On the programme: Camille Saint-Saëns and Albert Roussel.
In 1959, His Serene Highness Prince Rainier III and the Conductor, Louis Frémaux, inaugurated a summer season which, from year to year, has become a must for fans of international music. In July and August the Prince receives in the Court of Honor of the Palais, transformed into a magical musical venue, the outdoor concerts given by the Orchestra surrounded by prestigious soloists.
The Prince’s Palace concerts begin at 9:30 pm and continue until around 11 pm.
And the 12th International Organ Festival is still on, this Sunday with Jürgen Wolf (Germany), organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs on 23 July at 5 p.m., Cathédrale de Monaco. Further information: +377 98 98 83 03
A very spectacular event of this weekend is the International musical fireworks competition organised by the Mairie de Monaco on Saturday 28 July at 9.30 pm, Port Hercule and Port de Monaco.
Ever since its 31st edition, in 1996, this pyrotechnical contest has become pyromelodic, with rhythm and melody going hand in hand during shows. This is an actual annually-prized contest of top-quality pyrotechnic displays, lasting up to about 20 minutes each.
Competing firework manufacturers are selected by the Municipal Council after receiving their applications. A very powerful sound system is installed over the whole area of Port Hercule, allowing spectators to fully enjoy these exceptional shows from “Quai Albert 1er”. After the success of AS Monaco in the previous season, it’s a good idea to keep an eye right from the start of the season. This weekend within French Super Cup: AS Monaco will meat with Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday July, 29 at 9 pm, Stade Louis II.
And last but not least if you are willing to take a ride, a Medieval festival in Eze will take place on 29 and 30 July 2017! On the Program: performances of musicians, jugglers, street theater, children’s shows and workshops, fire show. A craft market. Workshops and many others! Admission is free.
