Sport in the City: World Class Monaco Club celebrates its anniversary with fitness competition

This year World Class Monaco, the first European Club of the World Class chain with more than 20 years of experience and expertise in the field of sports and fitness, celebrated its 7th anniversary. Each year, World Class organises a sporting event that is open to all, members and guests, to celebrate an important date. And this year was no exception to this beautiful tradition. 

True to this concept, the celebration was organised in the spirit of the Club and was called “World Class Games”. It is a mix of sports challenges and shared fun. This fitness competition consisted of different disciplines. Club clients, trainers or simply sports enthusiasts joined together for the anniversary of the Club which was an experience rich in emotions. The sports competition took place on Saturday 15th October and it was an opportunity for everyone to go beyond their limits and live a unique experience, and for the best trained to display exceptional performances.

During the World Class Games people discovered the fitness area and met with the staff. The program included a motivating sports competition with many prizes to win, an entertaining atmosphere with DJ and Cocktails, plus fun and games for children and what’s more — birthday cake.

The competitions were held in three possible categories: DUO Man-Man, DUO Woman-Woman, MIX Woman-Man. There were six stages, which included clean & jerk, jump box, burpees, kettlebell swing, lift & throw and running.

And the winners are… 

Every competition needs its heros at the end. After all the fun and emotional rivalry Jean Max Janel et Ilona Janel became Mr and Miss World Class 2022. 

In the category Man-Man Floriant Gelineaud and Maximilian Schmidl were the winners this time. Dina Rolo and Claudia Peixoto took first place in the competition Woman-Woman. And, last but not least, Marie-Charlotte Gastaud and Pierre Barré-Laffay became the leaders this year in the Mix category.
