First Communion, Confirmation, Catechism: Enroll Your Children Now for your Parish Church Programs

Many extracurricular activities are offered to the children of the Principality, and an introduction to the Church and its teachings is one of the activities that is particularly important. The program offered is modern and fun, full of useful knowledge and there is the cultural plus of making friends and associating with other young people. It is provided by highly competent volunteers who are always in a good mood. And the children have the opportunity to stay longer and enjoy their time spent with friends!
We can all be involved in helping. Regardless of our age or our social role, we all have children and young people around us, we all have this message to get out: prepare your future, join the classes; the “catechism” is a welcome way of learning the teachings of the Christian faith and more. In Monaco, colleges and high schools are exempt from religious education, so it is the parish that fulfills the role and is always available and eager to help. It’s very simple. Whether you are a parent or a friend just contact your parish or go on site every day, do not hesitate to call.

The parish will help you choose classes for your children either after their regular school day or on Saturday mornings; classes on the catechism (principles of the Christian faith), on how to prepare to receive communion and also how to confirm your faith (confirmation).
Adults can join in too. There is a special initiation service for adults. The diocese of Monaco and its service of Christian initiation welcome adults who want to resume the path of faith (catechumenate): if you want to be baptized, if you want to receive communion or make your confirmation as an adult, that too is possible. Contact the parish at: +377 99 99 16 61 or initiation@diocese.mc
And there is also a special service for handicapped children. If you are a child dealing with a handicap, the Service offers you: “Handi’Kat” – A personalized and adapted follow-up for the initiation to the Christian faith. Information: +377 99 99 16 61 or initiation@diocese.mc
