AS Monaco Women’s Football has announced a new and exciting partnership with DCB Sports, a sports investment management company based in California. The company specializes in investing in emerging sports teams and novel leagues. This partnership marks a new step in the recognition and promotion of women’s sport and responds to growing public demand for a more inclusivity and diversity within sports.
“AS Monaco Women’s Football is proud to announce the start of a strategic investment in women’s football, reaffirming its commitment to equal opportunities, the development of women’s sport, and the promotion of football at all levels,” said the ASM in a recent press release.
As part of this initiative, DCB Sports, through Gary LaDrido (Founder and Managing Partner of DCB Sports) will dedicate a growing budget over the next 10 years to support AS Monaco Women’s Football.
“Women’s football embodies the values of self-improvement, solidarity, and excellence. This investment reflects a desire to make a concrete contribution to its development, locally, nationally, and internationally,” said Gary Ladrido.
The new partnership has outlined several concrete goals, including: strengthen the training of young players and coaches; improving infrastructure and training conditions; promoting the visibility of women’s football in the media; supporting the professionalization of clubs and athletes.
“Monegasque women’s sport can be a vehicle for ambitious projects in France and Europe. The club is determined to take on the challenge and carry this influence into a broader project: to help women win on the field of sport and beyond, to shed remarkable light on women’s performance,” said André-Pierre Couffet, ASM President.
DCB Sports has made notable investments in entities like Venezia FC (Italian soccer), TGL (indoor golf league), and the Big3 basketball league.
