Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II attend the St. Devote Rugby Tournament
The 12th edition of the Saint Devote Rugby Tournament was held on 19 and 20 April at the Louis II Stadium. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene were in attendance, as was Minister of State, Pierre Dartout.
This year, the event was bigger than ever and took place over two days for the first time. The tournament welcomed U-12 rugby 7s teams from around the world, including defending champions, the Blue Bulls from South Africa.

63rd Monte-Carlo Television Festival awards International Golden Nymph for Most Promising Talent
The 63rd edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival has selected this year’s recipient of The International Golden Nymph for Most Promising Talent. The award, which recognises the brilliant and exceptional rising talent of an actor who has elevated the bar of excellence to international acclaim, will be presented to Simone Ashley at the Opening Ceremony of the Festival on Friday, 14 June.
British actress Simone Ashley is known for portraying Kate Sharma, the female lead of season two of the highly successful TV series Bridgerton. The show is based on the work of author Julia Quinn and is written and directed by Shonda Rhimes. Produced by Netflix, the series has been a worldwide sensation. Fans can look forward to Bridgeton’s season three premiere next month where Simone will reprise her role.
SBM signs Partnership with Camille Gottlieb and ‘Be Safe’
Camille Gottlieb, President of Be Safe Monaco, and Stéphane Valeri, Deputy Chairman of the Société des Bains de Mer, signed a partnership on 16 April. The SBM will be financing two new drivers, allowing a second Be Safe shuttle to run all summer. The partnership comes on the heels of a tragic series of six fatal alcohol-related accidents in Monaco in 2023 alone.
