Monaco ePrix: triumphs and new electric cars
Before the start of the electric racing circuit of the FLA Formula E championship in the Principality, we could compare the promotion of the 2nd ePrix in Monaco to a boxing event. In the blue corner, Renault-e.dams: Sébastien “The King” Buemi! Winner of the first edition here, on the 9th of May 2015, reigning champion and leader of the current edition after the first lap. In the red corner, Audi Sport ABT: Lucas Di Grassi, aka “The Challenger!” Five victories (plus he placed 3rd in 2014-2015 and 2nd in 2015-2016). Youth acrobatic gymnastics results
In the recent competition in acrobatic gymnastics the Monaco groups performed exceptionally well.
Recently, the gymnasts of Fémina Sport participated in the national final of the Masters of acrobatic gymnastics which were held in Lons-le-Saunier. For the occasion, three groups represented the Principality. In National A for 11-16 year olds, Ariana Katchik and Diego Lopez got a score of 48,900 points. The duo has been working together for two years. The pair is making huge progress thanks to their very serious work, especially in the artistic field.

Prince Albert’s First Visit to Moldova
On the 4th and 5th of May, HSH Prince Albert II made his first official visit to the Republic of Moldova. In the capital Kishinev, the Prince was received on the 4th of May by HE Filip Pavel, Prime Minister of Moldova. On this occasion, a bilateral framework agreement for cooperation was signed between the governments of the two countries as well as a memorandum of understanding between the Moldovan Ministry of the Environment and the Prince Albert II Foundation.
470 Open European Championship: Swedes dominate Europe
Organised by the Yacht Club de Monaco in partnership with SLAM and FxPro, the 470 Open European Championship, an Olympic class for men and women attracted 90 teams from 26 nationalities. The event which went way beyond the borders of the Old Continent drew sailors from all over the world, many of them from the Olympic route.
The best young player, best goalie and best coach returned to ASM representatives on Monday at the UNFP trophy awards ceremony. The Parisian Cavani was crowned best player.
AS Monaco have been strong this season, with a championship title almost in their pockets, 102 goals scored in Ligue 1 and an exceptional performance in the cups (final in the Coupe de la Ligue, semi-final in the French Cup and League of champions). The club du Rocher was therefore widely honoured this Monday, at the trophy award ceremony UNFP. Although not all players could be in Paris for the Awards ceremony because of the Wednesday match, some of them had to stay in Monaco where they received there trophies on the gala evening organized in the new restaurant of the President of Monaco’s football club AS Monaco Dmitry Rybolovlev “Bagatelle”, which has just been opened in the beginning of May and already marked by such a festive event.
