UNESCO – The Principality of Monaco Announces a Strategic Partnership for Marine Heritage
In his general policy speech, given on 1 November 2017 on the occasion of the 39th session of the UNESCO General Conference, Mr. Gilles Tonelli, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, announced the signing of a collaboration agreement with UNESCO to strengthen the activities of the World Heritage Marine Programme.

What do Leonardo da Vinci and Andy Warhol have in common you may ask. Certainly not a Campbells soup can!
Andy Warhol became arguably one of the 20th century’s most recognisable names in the genre of Contemporary art when his Pop Art exploded on the scene and caught the imagination of the art world. Less well known about Andy Warhol is that he was a religious man and one of his last works was Sixty Last Suppers (1986), silk screened 60 times so that it stretches to the same massive size as the original da Vinci “Last Supper” mural.
New images added to exhibition by Kasper Akhøj
The New National Museum of Monaco has been hosting a photo exhibition by Kasper Akhøj entitled Welcome (To The Teknival), dedicated to villa E-1027 in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. The exhibition opened on the 2nd of June at Villa Sauber, but has been updated later with new images, made by the artist in July 2017. The new additions complete the body of work started by the artist in 2008.
Resumption of Extension Works to the North of the Quai Albert 1er
Following the dismantling of the Monaco Yacht Show, work on the northern dock of the Port de la Condamine is resuming, with a new phase that will continue until the 2018 F1 Grand Prix.

Mr. Fernando Carderera Soler, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain, who presented their Letters of Credence to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince during the morning.

Monaco’s Yacht Club joins Mr. Goodfish
The Prince Albert II Foundation‘s Mister Good Fish Program focuses on regulating the use of seafood depending on the season in order to prevent overfishing, which drastically reduces the numbers of certain fish species, and to protect the marine environment. The Monaco Yacht Club and its chef Christian Plumail are the most recent members of the Mr. Goodfish program.
