Two Michelin Stars for Monaco’s New Restaurant by Chef Christophe Cussac!

Les Ambassadeurs restaurant by Christophe Cussac has been thrust into the spotlight after receiving an incredible two new Michelin Stars just nine months after it opened. The achievement is a resounding endorsement for Chef Christophe Cussac and his team, who have been offering exceptional culinary experiences at the Hotel Metropole since July.

First Look at Monaco’s 2023 Census…

The Monegasque Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (IMSEE) recently published the first results of the 2023 Population Census, using to a new method of calculation based on registers.

The preliminary results show that Monaco has a population of just over 38,300 inhabitants and that less than a quarter of the population is Monegasque.

As of 31 December 2023, Monaco’s resident population is 38,367. Monaco’s population growth compared to the last General Census of 2016 is 2.8%.

Prince Albert II inaugurates New Grandstand for Monaco’s Grand

Formula 1’s most glamorous weekend is coming up from 24-26 May. From grandstands to viewing terraces and trackside yachts, there’s no shortage of amazing places to catch the action at the Circuit de Monaco. And now, there’s a newly revamped and exclusive viewing point for Monaco’s Grand Prix, called ‘Garage 1’.

Located at the entrance to the stands, Garage 1 was officially inaugurated by Prince Albert II on 27 April, just ahead of the Formula E. The Prince was joined by Alejandro Agag, Chairman of Formula E, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, former rally driver and current president of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (the governing body of many auto racing events including Formula 1) and Michel Boeri, President of the Automobile Club of Monaco.

A Surprise Win in Miami with Thrills & Spills & Leclerc on Podium

For the seventh consecutive time, Max Verstappen secured pole position this weekend in Miami.

And a lot happened at the start when Leclerc, second on the grid, had an unexpected problem at the first bend with challenges working his clutch and spinning his wheels in the process.

Perez in his Red Bull took his opportunity and shot past Charles so fast on the inside that he and Leclerc could have crashed. And during that poor start Carlos Sainz, Leclerc’s team-mate, also passed him in the approach to Turn 1. Perez had another near incident as he nearly made contact with Verstappen in front after locking up. And in that process Leclerc managed to regain P2 as Sainz and Perez fell behind him.

New Xpress Lines connect East and West Monaco

The Prince’s Government and the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco have recently launched a total of four new express lines in Monaco. The first two new lines connect the East and West of the Principality, while two other lines connect the new Salines car park with Monaco-Ville.
